Better Social Sharing: Open Graph & Rich Previews
ResuPals links now unfurl with proper Open Graph previews on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Slack, and most messaging apps.
Ever shared a link on Twitter or LinkedIn only to see a boring, text-only preview? We've fixed that. ResuPals links now display rich previews across all major social platforms.
What Changed?
When you share a ResuPals link on social media, in a messaging app, or anywhere that supports link previews, you'll now see:
- A custom preview image with our brand and what we do
- A clear title: "ResuPals – Free ATS Resume & Cover Letter Builder"
- A description that says what the product does at a glance
- Proper formatting for each platform's requirements
Where It Works
Twitter/X
Links shared on Twitter now display as large image cards, so your shares stand out in the timeline. The preview includes our branded image and a clear call-to-action.
When you post about ResuPals or recommend it to job-seeking connections, the preview looks polished and professional.
Facebook & Messenger
In a group, on your timeline, or in a direct message, the link preview matches Facebook's display requirements.
Slack, Discord & Teams
Sharing ResuPals in work chats or community servers? The link unfurls with a proper preview, so people can see what they're clicking.
iMessage & SMS
Many messaging apps now support rich link previews. Share ResuPals with a friend who's job hunting and they'll see exactly what it is.
The Technical Details

Structured Data (JSON-LD)
We also added Schema.org structured data to help search engines understand the site:
- WebSite schema for site-wide information
- Organization schema for brand identity
- WebApplication schema describing our resume builder features
This helps with SEO and enables rich results in search engines.
Why This Matters
A good preview does quiet work every time someone shares a link. It catches attention in a feed and tells the reader what they'll get before they click. And it makes recommending ResuPals to a friend feel a little more credible. The structured data also gives search engines a clearer picture of the site.
